Include Training Resources

The Department of Children Schools and Families (DCSF) approved a strategic grant to The Children's Society in Partnership with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers to deliver national training, information and examples of best practice to providers trying to help young carers under our new umbrella name of Include.

We are working jointly on a national strategic programme to meet Every Child Matters outcomes. This project will support public sector to put in place protocols, shared between Adults and Children's Services to 'adopt' a whole-family perspective, working jointly with statutory services for children, adults, voluntary services and educational providers.

Toolkits for Young Carers Services and Local Authorities are available here, you can also request strategy templates to help your local authority create working strategies to support young carers and their families.
