Improving outcomes for children, young people and families with multiple problems
(funded by the Department for Education)

Welcome to the Prevention through Partnership online resource bank. This programme is working to build partnerships that will lead specifically to early interventions, preventing children and young people from taking on inappropriate caring roles in families affected by parental mental ill health, substance misuse or who may be in trouble with the law.

Schools ToolkitOver the last 15 years, young carers have told us that schools play a vital role in identifying and supporting them to reduce or prevent inappropriate caring roles.
